Eggless vanilla maida cake 

Here is a recipe for eggless vanilla cake that uses all-purpose flour (maida) as the main ingredient. You will need the following ingredients:

- 1 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (maida)

- 2 and 1/2 tablespoons corn flour

- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 3/4 cup sugar

- 1/2 cup oil

- 1 cup water

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract








Here are the steps to follow:


1. Preheat the oven to 180C.

2. Grease and line a round 8 inch baking pan with oil and parchment paper.

3. Sieve all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda into a bowl and keep aside.

4. In another mixing bowl, add sugar, curd, oil and vanilla essence. Beat on low speed with a hand/stand mixer until well combined.

5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients in batches alternating with water.

6. Mix until well combined and smooth.

7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.

8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

9. Cool the cake in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
